SCOPE
The Mechanical Assembler is critical to MLS' success in providing quality products to our customers in a timely fashion. This position is responsible for executing manufacturing / assembly instructions under direct supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build product mechanical sub-assemblies and / or final assemblies.
- Test products or sub-assemblies for functionality or quality with oversight.
- Follow drawings, production routers, guidelines and / or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are within limits.
- Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Maintain clean production equipment and work areas.
- Measure and record data associated with operating equipment.
- Transfer hazardous or non-hazardous waste materials to collection areas for disposal, recycling, or reuse.
- Adhere to established manufacturing and material control policies and procedures in compliance with ISO quality standards.
- Utilize cellular and lean manufacturing techniques throughout production and repair.
- Assist other areas of the manufacturing operations on an as-needed basis.
- Support other areas of the manufacturing operations on an as-needed basis.
- Adhere FOD policies and procedures.
SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS
