This role leads IT initiatives, optimizes enterprise software, implements AI-driven automation, and supports all departments with their technology needs.
This role maintains on-premise and cloud-based servers, oversees network security and disaster recovery, and administers Microsoft SharePoint to improve internal collaboration. Additionally, the IT Manager evaluates and deploys AI solutions for process automation, predictive analytics, and data-driven decision-making to enhance operational efficiency.

Core Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure & Server Management
· Maintain and optimize on-premise and cloud-based servers, ensuring high availability and security.
· Manage network infrastructure, virtualization, and data storage solutions for optimal performance.
· Perform system updates, patches, and vulnerability scans to mitigate security risks.
· Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans to protect company data.
SharePoint & Collaboration Tools Administration
· Administer Microsoft SharePoint, managing permissions, security settings, document organization, and workflow automation.
· Develop and implement SharePoint-based workflows to automate document approvals and data processing.
· Train employees on best practices for SharePoint usage, file retention, and secure collaboration.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
· Design and implement cybersecurity policies to protect company data and IT assets.
· Monitor firewalls, antivirus solutions, and intrusion detection systems to mitigate security threats.
· Conduct regular security audits, penetration tests, and vulnerability assessments.
· Enforce multi-factor authentication (MFA), role-based access control (RBAC), and endpoint security.
Software & Systems Administration
· Maintain and support company-wide applications, including Sage 100 Contractor, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Exaktime, Microsoft Projects, and Bluebeam Revu.
· Ensure seamless integration between enterprise software, cloud applications, and field technology tools.
· Oversee software licensing, version control, and troubleshooting.
AI & Forward-Looking Technology Integration
· Deploy AI-driven automation tools to enhance workflow efficiency, predictive maintenance, and data analytics.
· Implement machine learning models for cost estimation, resource optimization, and risk assessment.
· Research and recommend emerging technologies, including IoT, AI chatbots, and process automation.
· Lead digital transformation initiatives, integrating AI with project management, finance, and HR systems.
IT Support & Help Desk Leadership
· Act as the primary point of contact for all IT-related support, resolving hardware, software, and network issues in the office and at remote worksites.
· Establish IT Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure rapid response times and efficient troubleshooting.
· Develop training programs and technical documentation to improve system adoption and security awareness.
IT Budget & Resource Management
· Manage IT procurement, including hardware, software, cloud services, and cybersecurity tools.
· Develop and manage the IT budget, aligning technology investments with business growth.
Coordination with Other Roles
- COO & Leadership Team: Align IT strategy with company growth initiatives, operational goals, and AI adoption.
- Finance & Accounting Teams: Support Sage 100 Contractor and financial security to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Project Managers & Construction Teams: Optimize Autodesk Construction Cloud, Microsoft Projects, and field collaboration tools.
- HR & Payroll Teams: Manage Exaktime time tracking software and automate HR workflows.
- Estimators & Sales Team: Enhance CRM, estimating software, and bid management with predictive analytics.
Additional Responsibilities
- Research and implement emerging IT trends, including AI, IoT, and cloud-based security solutions.
- Conduct IT audits and compliance assessments, ensuring industry best practices are met.
- Provide executive-level reports on system performance, security risks, and technology needs.
- Assist in employee onboarding, setting up hardware, IT credentials, and conducting cybersecurity training.

Qualifications and Skills
Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
· 5 years of experience in IT management, network administration, or cybersecurity.
· Experience managing Windows Server, Active Directory, SharePoint, and cloud computing platforms.
· Proficiency in network security, AI-driven automation, and data analytics.
· Strong leadership, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.
Preferred:
· Experience in the construction industry or IT management for project-based businesses.
· Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator, CISSP, CompTIA Security , or PMP.
· Familiarity with Azure, AWS, AI-driven process automation, and IoT solutions.
