What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Property Manager position at Marx Realty?
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Property Manager. This role will assist the Property Manager and other members of the property management team in the direction and management of the day-to-day operations, physical condition, financial performance and administration of the properties in accordance with established Owner requirements and company objectives.
Specific responsibilities and duties:
- Manage the day to day operations of various properties within the portfolio Assist with the management of tenant improvements and capital projects Review and approve expenses on ongoing invoices
- Assist in preparation of annual operating budgets and monthly financial reports Prepare and coordinate bid proposals and service contracts
- Assist in lease administration activities
- Inspect assigned properties in accordance with company procedures Ensure Certificates of Insurance for tenants and vendors are up to date
- Oversee Amenity spaces
- Coordinate and manage events
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 years of commercial real estate experience preferred
- High proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
- Possess written and oral communications skills to present information in a clear and concise manner Proactive work ethic with strong problem-solving skills
- Possess strong organizational skills
- Is a great team player
- Construction knowledge and oversight a plus
