Statement of Purpose:
This position will ensure materials are received, recorded, and tracked correctly, and also paid for in an accurate and timely fashion.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all accounts receivable activities.
- Maintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets, updating information as needed.
- Generate invoices and account statements.
- Communicating with clients and customers to request and arrange payments.
- Recording and tracking payments in databases
- Reconcile daily banking statement
- Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables' data
- Investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries.
- Assist in general financial management and analysis.
- File all Receivable information after it is verified and reviewed.
- Review costs for supplies and work with vendors to secure better pricing where available.
- Serve as the backup for all other NetSuite input including: Sales Orders and Accounts Payable.
- Proactively identify effectiveness and efficiency opportunities.
- Other tasks as determined.
COMPETENCIES AND KNOWLEDGE
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of excel, word and other databases with the ability to analyze data related to production efficiencies.

- Spanish bi-lingual skill preferred
Minimum Requirements: BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent experience. Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Clerk, Accounts Receivable Clerk or Accountant, with a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
This person must be motivated and be able to follow directions and complete tasks effectively. Thus, they must have initiative, organization and dependability. This person must be able to handle stressful situations in a busy office environment. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 20 pounds and regularly walk and stand, and sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods of time. This position requires the employee to work closely with managers, supervisors, production staff, drivers and outside organizational contacts, so teamwork and effective communication skills are very important. Be able to effectively communicate orally, in person and over the telephone, and in writing.
