What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Nurse Intern position at Mary Greeley Medical Center?
Mary Greeley Medical Center is seeking a Student Nurse Intern for Summer 2025. This is a unique internship opportunity for a nursing student to experience patient care at the hospice house, home health hospice, and home nursing care. There is also an opportunity to assist with home health and hospice projects related to communication, time management, and infection control. Under general direction, the Student Nurse Intern protects, promotes, and optimizes the health and abilities of patients. Under general supervision, the Student Nurse Intern supports the professional clinical staff by providing direct patient care and performing duties as assigned by the RN.
Required Qualifications (Including any licensure, certification, education):

- ADN or BSN nursing student in good standing.
- Able to demonstrate clinical competencies such as: ability to assist nursing personnel with patients; explain procedures and give information; skill in the use of specialized equipment and/or techniques; ability to detect abnormal conditions and report appropriately.
