We are seeking a Human Resource Specialist to join our organization. This candidate will play a role in various HR functions and work with employees and management to maintain a positive & fun work environment.
Duties
- Hiring, including job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Oversee Company policies.
- Oversee Health Care Plan and respond to employee inquiries.
- Oversee 401 k administration and respond to employee inquiries.
- Collaborate with management to address employee issues and advise on a resolution.
- Handle unemployment, injury and FMLA.
- Plan & organize events
Requirements
- Proven minimum of 5 years experience in human resources or related field.
- Proficiency in computer usage
- Strong knowledge of recruiting processes and techniques.
- Strong organization skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Payroll processing experience
