What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director Specialty Clinics position at Mary Rutan Health?
Job Summary -
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide management and direction to Mary Rutan Healths specialty care offices, and service lines. They will direct and evaluate work activities of medical, nursing and clerical staff within assigned locations, undertake necessary administrative duties of those offices, and provide a first line of response for provider communication and escalation. They will also lead projects designed to improve patient care and optimize the practice, while maintaining routine operations via a data-driven mindset. To achieve these responsibilities the duties include, but are not limited to:
Regulatory Requirements
- 7 Years of Experience in a Medical Office or Clinic in a leadership/supervisory role (Advanced Degrees beyond Associate may substitute for up to 2 years of work experience)
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- LPN, RN, or Advanced nursing degree preferred
Skills
- Budgeting and planning (both capital and operational budgets)
- Leverage reports to enhance decision making and drive performance
- Maintaining operational policy and procedures
- Enforce accreditation and safety protocols and requirements, including billing compliance
- Assist with customer service recovery efforts, including both internal and external customers
- Drive projects to successful resolution
- Complete hire/fire decision making for assigned staff
- Guide and coach direct reports
