Job Summary -
The primary goal of this role is to ensure the smooth operation of the organization’s IT Department. The IT Project Assistant will assist in the day to day running of the department, conduct and update inventories, purchase supplies and equipment, develop and update needed KPIs and reports for monitoring and controlling the department and the projects it is involved in. Provides administrative support and coordination to IT projects and teams. Prepares and maintains project documentation including project schedules, status reports, presentations, resource plans, meeting schedules, and notes. Coordinates logistics for project activities. To achieve this goal the responsibilities, include, but are not limited to:
• Using business tools to create, update and publish various reports and KPIs.
• Collect, organize, and deliver data to decision makers.
• Organize meetings on behalf of the department.
• Take meeting minutes, organize agendas.
• Track expenses, and purchase equipment.
• Format, organize, and deliver necessary communications, and notices.
• Update policies and procedures.
• Maintain inventory of hardware and software.
Regulatory Requirements
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Language Skills
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) Proven ability in assembling, compiling, analyzing, and summarizing data.
- Demonstrated analytical ability in preparing reports and gathering statistical data.
- Able to synthesize information and knowledge as a key component of critical thinking and decision making. Ability to take direction and work independently.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
Qualifications
