What are the responsibilities and job description for the Specialty Clinic Supervisor position at Mary Rutan Health?
Job Summary -
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide day to day management to the roles assigned Mary Rutan Healths specialty care office(s). They will direct and evaluate work activities of medical, nursing and clerical staff, undertake necessary administrative duties of those offices, and provide a first line of response for staff communication and escalation. They will also assist with projects designed to improve patient care and optimize the practice, while maintaining routine operations via a data-driven mindset. To achieve these responsibilities the duties include, but are not limited to:
- Schedule management, including time and attendance monitoring
- Staff onboarding, training, and performance support on a day to day basis
- Enforcement operational policy and procedures
- Ensure execution of accreditation and safety protocols and requirements, including billing compliance
- Assist with customer service recovery efforts, including both internal and external customers
- Provide feedback across the chain of command regarding troubleshooting in assigned departments, ideas for improvement, and staff challenges
- Guide and coach direct reports
Regulatory Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent, with some college courses.
- Ability to work with physicians and clinical staff in a collaborative manner.
- A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a medical office setting (or similar) is required.
- Associates Degree or clinical experience/licensure is preferred.
- Experience with Meditech EMR system preferred.
Language Skills
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Knowledge of EMR systems, Meditech is preferred.
- Ability to multi-task is required.
