Crisis Therapist (LSW, LPC, MFT) Job Description
Maryhaven is Central Ohio's largest and most comprehensive behavioral services provider specializing in addiction recovery. We were founded on the principles of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in 1953. Our mission is to provide excellence in quality care for all and foster a culture that embraces dignity of all. The Crisis Therapist will assist individuals who walk in during extended crisis hours Sunday through Saturday, 5pm-12am. This part-time position requires working on-site 2-3 shifts per week. Responsibilities include completing a crisis assessment or diagnostic assessment, making recommendations for ongoing treatment, developing a safety plan or treatment plan for youth and adults seeking services, and facilitating connections to outpatient or inpatient treatment.
Crisis Therapist (LSW, LPC, MFT) Requirements
- Master's degree in human services or a behavioral healthcare field with one year of counseling experience in chemical dependency, mental health, or adolescent treatment is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in human services or a behavioral healthcare field with two years' experience in chemical dependency, mental health, or adolescent treatment is required.
- Valid state of Ohio LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, MFT, IMFT with two years of paid full-time experience in behavioral health is required.
