For years Maryhurst programs have been working to serve children and families in the greatest need. Maryhurst Renewal continues this tradition as it partners with children, adults and families who are hurting to find the right combination of support, ultimately clearing barriers to success at home, at school, and in the community. Renewal provides one-on-one, group and family counseling, as well as case management and behavioral modification support, in office, home or school-based settings.
We are seeking a compassionate and culturally responsive Community-Based Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate with community organizations to deliver trauma-informed mental health services tailored to the unique needs of marginalized populations. The ideal candidate is committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion while empowering individuals to overcome challenges and achieve wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy to clients, integrating trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches.
- Partner with community organizations to identify and address client needs, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that honor each client's cultural and personal experiences.
- Facilitate crisis intervention and stabilization when necessary.
- Advocate for clients by connecting them with relevant resources and services within the community.
- Maintain accurate, confidential client documentation in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
- Participate in community outreach efforts to increase mental health awareness and access.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to deepen cultural humility and enhance therapeutic skills.
Requirements:
A Master's Degree in Human Services. At minimum, must be licensed at the associates level (CSW, LPCA, etc.); independently licensed preferred such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Starting Salary: $54,000 (associate level clinician)
$58,000 (independently licensed clinician)
