Overview
General Description: The Team Supervisor is responsible for supervising and guiding the Family Peer Support Specialists (FPSS) assigned to their team in Baltimore County.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide programmatic supervision to Family Peer Support Specialists to include regular and consistent individual supervision, ongoing family and record reviews, and observation and support for family and community activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality family peer support services.
- Responsible for personnel management.
- Ensure contract deliverables are met by promoting an organizational culture that empowers staff members to achieve outcomes, using data to monitor contract deliverables and developing plans for corrective action as needed.
- Provide education and support to families with youth, adolescents, young adults, or other loved ones who are experiencing behavioral health challenges.
- Facilitate a process for families to develop a plan to: clarify the problem(s); provide emotional support; identify needs and strengths; and identify resources including appropriate levels of services, entitlements, community resources and other natural.
- Lived experience as a primary caregiver of a loved one with a behavioral health challenge is required.
- Must live in Baltimore County
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a human services field.
- Minimum three years of experience working with families caring for children with behavioral health challenges preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience.
- Strong organizational, written, and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve conflict.
- Strong computer skills including MS Office and use of a database.
- Ability to travel throughout the state and within the region regularly. Current Maryland driver’s license and insurance, and access to own vehicle.
- Successful completion of a background check is required for all MCF employees.
- Full-Time 40 hours/week
- Salary: $45,760-$54,080/yearly
- MCF provides equipment, mileage reimbursement, and paid training.
- Full benefits include generous paid time off (2-Weeks Vacation, 2-Weeks Sick leave, 3-Personal days, 2-Floating holidays, 11-Holidays per year, Summer half-Friday off, 1-week winter break), health plans, dental, vision, life insurance, FSA, long-term disability, 401(k), and EAP.
