Job Summary:
As the OMHC Director, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and managing the operations of our mental health programs. This includes ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, maintaining high standards of care, and fostering a supportive environment for both staff and clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health, leadership experience, and a passion for making a positive impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and daily operations of the OMHC, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation standards, including Medicaid and other funding requirements.
- Supervise and support clinical and administrative staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance program quality and outcomes.
- Monitor program budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with community partners, stakeholders, and referral sources to strengthen program outreach and impact.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and evidence-based practices in mental health treatment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (required).
- Active licensure in Maryland (e.g., LCSW-C, LCPC, or equivalent) (required).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in behavioral health, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of OMHC program operations, including regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with Medicaid billing and compliance is highly preferred.
