Job Summary:

The SUD Director will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all aspects of the Substance Use Disorder program. This includes ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, maintaining high standards of care, and building a team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in addiction treatment, leadership experience, and a passion for making a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and oversee the SUD program, ensuring it aligns with the organization’s mission and goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation standards, including Medicaid and other funding requirements.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise clinical and administrative staff, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and evidence-based practices to enhance program quality and outcomes.
  • Monitor program budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and referral sources to strengthen program outreach and impact.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and advancements in addiction treatment.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (required).
  • Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) OR
  • Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) OR
  • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with addiction specialty OR
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Certified (LCSW-C) with addiction specialty
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in addiction treatment, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of SUD program operations, including Maryland COMAR regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Medicaid billing and compliance is highly preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Dundalk, MD 21222

Salary : $60,000 - $90,000
