The IT Field Technician is primarily responsible for on-site and off-site IT support for our supported clinics.
Responsibilities:
Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position:
Assist the IT Team with off-site and on-site installation, maintenance, and support for both existing and newly supported clinics.
Install, repair, and/or update workstations, digital equipment, printers, scanners, and any other IT-related equipment needed at the office.
Assist with installation and support projects related to modernizing and standardizing practice management software and IT equipment (also known as conversions).
Assist with computer hardware/operating system refresh projects.
Troubleshoot IT systems user tickets to determine the root cause of issues experienced and provide steps for resolution.
Communicate frequently with office contacts and other non-technical stakeholders.
Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Minimum Requirements:
Completion of three years of IT experience in a technical support role, OR a degree in an IT-related field. The professional license is a plus.
Ability to travel (drive)
Must be available to work an 8-hour shift as determined by management.
Ability to physically lift 50 lbs.
Practical knowledge of computer and networking troubleshooting concepts.
Strong computer skills, including experience with operating systems, computers, networking hardware, and other IT-related peripheral devices.
Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
