What are the responsibilities and job description for the Revenue Cycle Associate position at Maryland Masonic Homes?
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and post various types of insurance payments, including private insurance, hospice, Medicaid, Medicaid pending, private pay, outpatient Medicare, and managed care with levels and RUGS
- Deal with residents and their families in a professional manner both in person or by phone
- Coordinate with the admissions and rehabilitation departments to ensure accurate and timely billing
Requirements:
Qualified candidates must have a working knowledge of Point Click Care and Ability, as well as experience in invoicing, problem-solving, and posting collections with various insurance payers. A strong understanding of RUGS and co-insurance is also required.
