Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Gymnastics Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gymnastics and related disciplines, such as martial arts or cheerleading, and will be dedicated to educating and inspiring students of all ages. This role involves teaching gymnastics techniques, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive environment for skill development.
Duties
- Instruct students in various gymnastics skills, ensuring proper techniques and safety measures are followed.
- Develop lesson plans that cater to different skill levels and age groups.
- Provide individualized feedback to students to help them improve their performance.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, maintaining a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
- Organize and lead warm-up exercises and cool-down sessions.
- Collaborate with other instructors to create engaging programs that enhance overall student experience.
- Monitor students’ progress and adjust training methods as necessary.
- Ensure the gym area is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.
- Instruct ages 2 years - 15 years old
Requirements
- Previous experience in gymnastics instruction or related fields such as martial arts (e.g., judo) or cheerleading is preferred.
- Strong background in childcare or experience working with students in an educational setting.
- Ability to climb and demonstrate various gymnastics skills effectively.
- Excellent behavior management skills to maintain a focused learning environment.
- Passion for health and fitness, with the ability to motivate students to achieve their goals.
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate and engage with students and parents alike.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not required.

Pay: $15.00 - $27.50 per hour
