Examples of Important Duties
The Montgomery County Department of Parks is seeking a skilled Engineering Project Manager III assumes a lead role in the design and management of the department's largest, most technically complex, and politically significant capital projects and work programs. Projects assigned encompass extensive internal and external coordination with specialists across varied disciplines, as well as public input and involvement. Technical complexities include cost effectiveness trade-offs between design, maintainability, sustainability, safety, and other considerations that demand careful assessment, analysis and an adept balance of decision-making factors. The role shall have a level of coaching for engineering staff to uphold identified standards for civil engineering aspects of the department's projects. The role is tailored for a seasoned design and construction project manager with Professional Engineer registration.

Do you have a bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering, or a degree in any related field?
