Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant Specialist to join our team at Maryland Oncology Hematology. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the month-end close for assigned oncology practices, including financial reporting and general accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintains general ledger, prepares financial schedules, and writes journal entries as required.
- Processes monthly close of all practices and management companies in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring accruals are appropriately made each month.
- Works with Controller and management to obtain necessary information and explanations, ensuring compliance with Management Services Agreements for all practices.
- Ensures all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly and supported by valid detail, reviews monthly reporting packages for accuracy, reasonableness, and completeness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business curriculum.
- Minimum two to five years of fiscal management experience, prior health care experience preferred.
- CPA preferred.
