Marymount School seeks a collaborative, flexible problem-solver to both manage a robust afterschool program during the school year and support the Marymount Summer administrative team before and during the camp. The Coordinator for Auxiliary Programs at Marymount is responsible for planning and coordinating activities and events, ensuring a safe and supportive environment, hiring and supervising staff, and maintaining effective communication with parents, school personnel, and the community. The ideal candidate enjoys working both independently and collaboratively within a team to design, organize, and execute age-appropriate experiences for the students at Marymount. This position requires advance program planning and registration during the summer months as well as before the 2nd semester begins in January. Occasional weekend hours for events or planning are expected.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting, preferably in an afterschool program
- Strong leadership, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage staff and deal with sensitive issues
- A commitment to practices that support belonging
- Knowledge of child development and experience designing engaging activities for school-aged children
- Committed to working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Bilingual skills (preferred but not required).
- September - May; 10:30 - 6:30 pm (and/or whenever all students have been dismissed from afterschool programs), Monday - Friday
- June 1 - July 25: 8:00-4:00 pm, Monday - Friday
