We are looking for an outstanding Residential Cabinet Designer / Selection Coordinator to join our team and lead our design department. We are a construction company that acts as a construction manager, builder custom homes, remodeling and custom cabinetry manufacturer
The Designer should be a team player, self-motivated, accountable, and accustomed to being fully responsible for projects and deadlines with little direction from others. Professionalism, efficiency, organizational skills, and punctuality are required traits. Above all, you must be a good communicator with clients, other team members and Construction Project Managers. The ability to work independently to drive the project selections based upon the construction schedule is crucial. Experienced in juggling many projects and/or clients simultaneously is a must. You should have a positive mindset and possess strong problem solving skills for when issues arise with clients. Must be teachable and adaptable to work within our company’s standards in regards to organization and presentation. Knowledge of the construction process and materials are required.
Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Design development
· Cabinetry design
· Presentations
· Material selections
· Approving & ordering materials related to selections
· Visual presentations
· Vendor and client meetings
· Maintaining cloud-based client selections software
· Communicating with clients, vendors, and subs
Day to day tasks associated with the position significantly vary depending on what needs to get done. One day may be spent meeting with clients to make selections for plumbing and lighting fixtures in the morning and then relaying selections to subcontractors, vendors or our estimator in the afternoon. Another day may include doing cabinetry design, tile drawings, lighting layouts and meeting with the Project Manager on the job site, etc.
Requirements:
· Interior Design degree or proven work experience
· Auto CAD
· 20/20 design program
· Valid drivers’ license
· Minimal travel required – to and from job-site and client meetings.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
