Description
The Child and Family Specialist ( CFS ) is responsible for providing rehab and case management services to assigned clients and families and functions as a member of the Child and Family Team (CFT). A CFS is expected to exercise professional judgment and discretion in providing for the safety, permanency, and well-being of the clients. CFS staff must complete all training requirements per DMH contract within the first year of employment. The CFS reports directly to the Team or Clinical Supervisor.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Services, Social Work or Psychology plus a minimum of one year of experience working with high-risk youth OR a high school diploma (or General Educational Diploma (GED)) plus a minimum of three years’ experience working with high risk youth.
2. Valid California Driver’s License, good driving record, and must be able to drive to fulfill the duties of the position.
$1,000 Signing Bonus: Receive first half of the $1,000 on the first paycheck and the second half after 6 months of employment.
