Essential Functions Include
- Manage and supervise a distributed core development team, including resource allocation, planning, and administration.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) to align team delivery with project goals and stakeholder needs.
- Foster a supportive, team-oriented work environment that promotes professional development, diversity, collaboration, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide leadership in design/development concepts, governance, and delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement of application management practices through user feedback, performance metrics, and innovation.
- Define design patterns, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to organizational coding, compliance, and security standards.
- Engage with external vendors for integrated solutions and stay updated on vendor roadmaps to maintain application architecture health.
- 4-year degree or equivalent work experience; B.S. in Computer Science preferred.
- Six (6) years’ hands-on experience with financial institution technologies (e.g., Jack Henry Symitar, MeridianLink, Encompass).
- Proficiency in software development methodologies, version control, and testing practices.
- Proven leadership in guiding teams through project/product delivery and career growth.
- Ability to influence executive stakeholders.
- Agile/iterative project management expertise.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- Hands-on experience with core banking platforms (Symitar/PowerOn/RepGen).
- Familiarity with IBM AIX operating systems.
- Knowledge of SQL, HTML, JavaScript, and ITIL framework implementation.
