The Estimator is responsible for the accurate takeoff and pricing of the work, including all direct and indirect costs for heavy/civil/roadway/ projects. The Estimator directs all estimators working on the bid, manages the preparation of a pre-bid schedule, and assists with contacting, comparing, and selecting the appropriate subcontractors and vendors.

Responsibilities:
- Work as integral part of our Estimating team to perform plan and specification analysis, takeoff and pricing of road, bridge, and other heavy/civil projects with values from $1 million to $100 million
- Work with subcontractors and vendors to define scope, and perform subcontractor and vendor analysis
- Assist with all Estimating functions for Lump Sum, Design/Build and Unit Price projects
- Assist with the budgeting, purchasing and cost functionsQualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or construction-related field
- Minimum of 1 year of field construction experience preferred but not required; new graduates accepted
- Excellent computer skillsNecessary Attributes:
