What are the responsibilities and job description for the Public Relations Specialist position at Mascon, Inc.?
Job Duties : Create, promote, and maintain a positive public image for Mascon by crafting media releases and developing promotion programs to shape public perception and increase awareness of Mascon ’s brand and products . Specifically,
E stablish and develop company ’s brand culture, identify main supplier, vendor, and customer groups and audiences, determine the best way to communicate publicity information to them, and develop and implement a communication policy that will influence public opinion and recognition of company ’s brand and products .
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key suppliers, vendors, customers , business partners, and media to grow industry awareness of company ’ s brand and to develop potential opportunities for cooperation or partnership.
Plan, create, and develop suitable informative programs and channels to maintain public perceptions of company ’ s products ’ favorability by creating a new look and feel for all company ’s communication materials and platforms including website, mobile media, and social media like WeChat, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Work closely with the marketing team and external PR resources to develop creative and integrated programs, campaigns, and events to promote company ’s current products and support the launch of new products.
E valuate advertising and promotion programs and PR materials to determine whether they are compatible with company ’ s public relations efforts .
Generate and maintain a steady volume of press releases, pitches, and articles that support company ’ s products , and establish and maintain a database of public relations contacts and distribution outlets.
Plan and manage communications budgets; maintain public relations standards, policies, and processes in alignment with corporate marketing and communications best practices.
Job Requirements :
Bachelor ’ s degree in Public Relations, Communication, or business / management -related discipline with concentration in Public Relations or Communication.
