What are the responsibilities and job description for the Police Officer - Entry Level Starting Salary $58,240.00; $5,000.00 sign-on bonus position at Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation?
At the direction of the Shift Sergeant or, in their absence, the ranking shift officer, the candidate performs general police duties, as a police officer, through the enforcement of Tribal, Federal and State laws and ordinances. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older. A high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) is required (candidates with post-secondary credits or degree in Law Enforcement or related field are encouraged to apply). Candidates must have a valid Driver's License.
Candidates must successfully complete a written test, oral panel interview, a psychological interview, and a medical exam including a drug screening.
You are ineligible for employment with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation Police Department if you have any legal issues that would inhibit you from obtaining a State of Connecticut POST Certification.
