Our client located in Charlestown, NH is looking for a Construction Estimator to join their team!
Your qualifications for the Construction Estimator position are as follows :
Previous experience in residential or commercial construction estimating, or extensive knowledge of residential construction materials and practices; experience in residential CAD design also strongly considered
Manufactured home experience a plus
Ability to perform material take-offs from architectural plans
Understanding of construction materials, methods, and basic building code requirements
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Bluebeam Revu
Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Benefits you will receive as the Construction Estimator :
Direct Hire position
Full time Monday – Friday 8am-4 : 30pm with some flexibility

Use pricing program to create detailed, accurate cost estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment
Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to understand project scope and requirements
Contact vendors to verify material specifications and costs
Collaborate with project managers, in-house designers, and purchasing department; advise team of specification changes as needed
Maintain an up-to-date material cost database
Identify and clearly communicate potential risks related to budget, timelines, and project scope
