What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Supervisor position at Masiello Employment Services?
Our very desirable employer in Brattleboro, VT is looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to join their team. This direct hire opportunity will have you working on 2nd shift and salary will be commensurate on skill and experience. The typical schedule will be Monday – Friday 3 : 30pm-12am.

As the Manufacturing Supervisor you will be responsible for the following tasks including, but not limited to :
Supervise production activities
Plan workload and staff department
Coordinate operations to fulfill orders, inventory, and delivery schedules
Seek opportunities for process improvement
Maintain positive team morale through coaching and effective employee relations
Provide reports as required
Train and develop employees, complete performance evaluations and other employee activities
Coordinate with other departments to achieve company objectives
Follow safety and company policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
Your Skills / Qualifications for the Manufacturing Supervisor position :
High School Diploma / GED
5 years related manufacturing supervisory experience
Experience with machining, scheduling, and operations required
Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office and manufacturing software
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Professional verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics
Ability to work effectively and multitask with shifting priorities
Understanding of OSHA safety guidelines
