Our client located in Brattleboro, VT, is looking for a temporary Microbiology Technician to assist with a temporary need approximately 3-6 months!
Your qualifications for the Microbiology Technician position are as follows :
High School Diploma / GED
1 years recent / relevant experience
Lab experience preferred
Solid computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
Experience with maintenance management systems
Excellent manual dexterity
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to follow through
Good verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively while multitasking and meeting deadlines
Ability to stand and lift up to 25 pounds throughout the shift Benefits you will receive as the Microbiology Technician :
Temporary position
Estimated duration 3-6 months-possibly longer
Full time 1st shift schedule Monday – Friday
18-$21 / hour depending on skills and experience For the Microbiology Technician position your duties will include :
Prepare samples and perform microbial testing
Assist with laboratory duties
Sterilize materials
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Record keeping and reporting
Follow company policies
