Our manufacturing client, a forward-thinking company located in Brattleboro, VT, is looking for a Payroll & HR Specialist to join their team!
Your qualifications for the Payroll & HR Specialist position are as follows :
Bachelor’s Degree in HR / Business
2 years recent / relevant HR experience
Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office
HRIS / HRMS system experience preferred
Pleasant customer service demeanor
Professional verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and multitask under deadline in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Ability to collaborate with others to meet organizational goals
Ability to maintain confidential information
Ability to work hours to meet business demand

Direct Hire position
Monday – Friday Full Time - Hybrid (3 days in office 2 days remote)
55k-$65k / year depending on skills and experience

For the Payroll & HR Specialist position your duties will include :
Manage payroll data
Process payroll
Maintain employee payroll information and records
Ensure accurate payroll data / files
Daily interaction with employees at all levels
Respond to employee payroll / HR questions
Assist with new employee onboarding
Assist with development / implementation of HR policies
Collaborate with team members to meet company objectives
Current knowledge of Federal / State / Local employment laws and regulations
Analyze data to develop solutions and policies
Other duties as assigned
