Our client located in Keene, NH is looking for a Tax Analyst to join their team!
Your qualifications for the Tax Analyst position are as follows :
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance
2 years recent / related experience
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; Excel and accounting software
Working knowledge of general accounting principles
Understanding of federal, state, and local taxes
Data compilation and reporting skills
Excellent written / verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple shifting priorities to meet deadlines
Strong math, analytical, and organization skills

Full time Monday – Friday9am-5pm schedule

Prepare tax returns
Collaborate with others to ensure timely completion
Account reconciliations
Complete payment requests
Handle correspondence from tax authorities to resolve discrepancies or gain guidance
Resolve issues through research and data compilation
Support tax audits
Assist with license applications / renewals
Perform research necessary to complete assigned tasks
Participate in process improvement strategies
Ensure procedures are documented and maintained
