Masis Professional Group is assisting a client in hiring an Accounts Payable Manager in Middlesex County MA. This position is responsible for managing a small team handling a high volume. Position is temp-to-perm with good potential for conversion to a permanent position after initial short-term contract period.
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Schedule: 100% onsite - Monday thru Friday, standard business hours
Accounts Payable Manager Responsibilities
- Manage small team of direct reports
- Handle all AP functions including vendors setups, payment runs,1099s and related
- Oversee general ledger coding and reporting
- Answer questions from vendors and recommend solutions to problems encountered
- General ledger reconciliations, check register reconciliations, wire process and payment/purchasing card reconciliations
- Maintain vendor invoice files – enter paper or electronic invoices into SAP
Accounts Payable Manager Requirements:
- 3-5 or more years’ of Accounts Payable or Accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related discipline
- Experience using an ERP software
- Experience with expense reporting or similar experience preferred
- Must be detail oriented and demonstrate accuracy
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and build positive business relationships
- Some leadership experience, preferred
- Highly self- motivated individual with a strong work ethic
Salary : $40 - $45
