Production Planner

Masis Professional Group is assisting a client company that uses injection molding technology in searching for a Production Planner in Dallas, North Carolina. Position is temp-to-perm with a flexible day shift schedule

Initial Starting Salary: Up to $22.00 per hour based on experience

Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm (flexible 1st shift hours)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviews product orders and contracts to fully understand deadlines.
• Establishes and tracks milestone dates to meet customer commitment delivery date.
• Participates in meetings with buyers, engineers and others to review client orders and details
• Identifies problems in workflows, determines required solutions and improvements, and recommends necessary modifications in affected departments and teams.
• Partners with Quality Control to ensure quality and outcomes
• Analyzes prior time to complete operation and works with Mfg. Engineering to implement efficiency improvements.
• Participates in postmortem review.
• Assumes additional related responsibilities as assigned.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a planner/expeditor role in a manufacturing setting
• Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables is required
• Experience partnering with internal teams including Engineering, Quality, Buying and proven teamwork skills
• Associate degree is preferred, and Bachelor's degree is a strong plus
• Excellent communication skills
