Masis Professional Group is seeking a diligent SENIOR ACCOUNTANT to join our client in Wilmington, MA. The accountant will be responsible for performing account reconciliations receivable/payables, fixed asset, prepay, deposits, etc., cost accounting experience is a plus), processing entries for payroll, maintaining financial records and reports, assisting with closing procedures and the budget process, and responding to information requests for management and external auditing purposes.

Senior Accountant Duties:
- Manage weekly wire transfers/ACH/Checks, including remittance details; do monthly bank account reconciliation; maintain treasury documentation.
- Assist in all phases of corporate accounting including but not limited to reconciliation of accounts receivable/payable, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, deposits, etc.) to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare cash status reports and oversee cash flow.
- Prepare internal reports for management team.
- Assistance with preparing monthly external reports.
- Prepare journal entries, analyses, and reconcile general ledger accounts in EOM closing
- Perform monthly accruals for payables and update schedule.
- Assist with monthly closing and year end closing processing.
- Contribute to the development and review of annual operating budgets and performance projections.
- Review of monthly financial statements.
- Provide assistance with information requests from external auditors as needed.
- Report to the CFO and provide assistance as needed.
Senior Accountant Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
- 5-7years of solid accounting experience.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, MS Great-Plain, Sage, QuickBooks, etc.
- Strong analytical, problem-resolving and time management skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Motivated and ready to learn.
