Masis Staffing Solutions has an immediate opening for a skilled CNC Machinist in Stoughton, MA.
The ideal candidate will set up and operate machines (CNC or manual turning horizontal and vertical turret lathes) to perform progressive machining operations for equipment with extremely close tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up machinery to successfully conduct the run as specified, including the use of part indicators to establish origin.
- Ability to interpret and navigate through CNC programs (if applicable).
- Perform machine shop turning operations, including turning, drilling, tapping, and de-burring tasks.
- Ability to multitask or operate additional machines when required.
- Check CNC machinery is in good working order before operating.
- Acknowledge that all machine guards and safety switches are intact and operable.
Requirements:
- High School/Technical School graduate or equivalent.
- 5 years of related experience.
- Short run/prototype experience.
- Able to read blueprints and inspect parts.
- Experience working with large parts.
