Job Description of Estimator :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are considered. This role requires a strong understanding of construction management and project management principles, as well as the ability to negotiate contracts effectively. The Estimator will work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver precise pricing that aligns with project goals.
Job Responsibilities of Estimator :
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on blueprints, specifications, and site visits.
- Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to develop accurate pricing.
- Collaborate with project managers to review project requirements and scope.
- Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam for efficient calculations.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather necessary information for estimates.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Monitor project budgets and assist in cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects.
