Responsibilities

What you’ll do: The New Business Coordinator Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of strategies to attract new business opportunities. This position is ideal for an individual looking to gain hands-on experience in business development, strategic consulting, and client relationship management. You will work closely with the firm’s client services lead and participate in impactful activities that contribute to our growth and success.

  • Conduct proactive lead sourcing to identify new business opportunities and leads
  • Design, implement, and monitor new business outreach campaigns to engage potential clients
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations to optimize outreach strategies
  • Maintain and update the internal CRM system with the latest client information
  • Coordinate and mange meetings, ensuring effective follow-up with external clients, prospective clients, internal stakeholders, and agency partners
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on efforts on new business initiatives: including working closely with our marketing team and participating in key account planning
  • Assist in the development and refinement of client-facing materials such as info sheets, proposals, and capability decks
  • Assist in planning and executing industry conferences, client expos, and new business travel meetings 

Qualifications

What we’re looking for: Driven, analytical, independent students interested in gaining real-world experience in a collaborative & fun office in NYC. We look for interns who have a knack for detail, are passionate about language, and are motivated. Relevant skills include:

  • Motivated, analytical, and independent students or recent graduates eager to gain hands-on experience in business development and strategic consulting.
  • Strong interest in language, psychology, marketing, or persuasion with critical thinking and curiosity about decision-making.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to interpret campaign metrics and drive actionable insights.
  • Comfortable collaborating across marketing, client services, and agency teams.
  • Experience with CRM systems and prior exposure to language strategy, marketing, or business development (preferred but not required).
  • Thrives in a dynamic, high-energy, and feedback-driven environment.

Application Process: This position follows a hybrid schedule, requiring three days per week in our NYC office at a maximum of 29 hours per week, with a base hourly rate of $16.50.
