**Job Summary: Community Relations/Fundraising Officer**

Maslow Project is on the lookout for a highly motivated and experienced Community Relations and Fundraising Officer to join our passionate team. As the Community Relations and Fundraising Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies to strengthen our connections with the community, stakeholders, and partners. If you have excellent communication skills, a knack for relationship building, and a passion for community engagement, we want you on our team.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and execute community relations events and initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community organizations, donors, volunteers, and business sponsors
- Collaborate with internal teams to align community relations efforts with organizational goals
- Plan and coordinate community events, fundraisers, and volunteer activities
- Manage social media platforms to promote community initiatives and engage the public
- Oversee media relations activities, including press releases and media inquiries
- Conduct market research to identify sponsorship opportunities within the community
- Develop and manage budgets for community relations programs
**Skills:**
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational development knowledge
- Experience in public relations and strategic planning
- Proven knowledge of fundraising strategies and techniques
- Proficiency in social media management, marketing, and strategies (reels, posts, multiple platforms, campaigns, etc.)
- Ability to effectively manage budgets and financial resources
- Experience in media relations
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License with a good driving records
- Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen (including marijuana use)
- 3 years direct experience in fundraising, nonprofit development or community relations work (or similar)
- Ability to use computer software for planning, tracking, and record keeping
- 3 years experience managing social media platforms with varied strategies
- High school diploma/GED or higher
- Must speak fluent English; Spanish a plus but not required
- Ability to work with a high level of independance and be a strong team collabortator
- Must be out-going, friendly, self disciplined and genuinely enjoy working with people
- Strong work ethic and time management skills
- Fluent with technology (iPhones, computers, various apps, A-I a plus!)
