What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Maintenance Foreman position at Maslyk Landscaping Inc.?
Successfully plan and execute landscape plantings, mulch jobs, tree work, pruning, etc. while managing a crew.
Job Details:
* Maintain a clean job site and truck
* Vaild Driver's License
*1-4 years and landscape work experience preferred
* Ability to operate skid steer, mini ex-, trencher, sod cutter, rototiller, power tools and other equipment
* Some plant material knowledge
* Effectively manage crew of 2-6
* Safely lift 70-100 lbs
* Drive truck and trailer combination
* Correctly fill out daily paperwork
* Train and manage crew members, workmanship, morale, and communication
* Follow all safety protocols
* Report any vehicle, equipment, or personnel safety issues
* Any combination of experience and education that demonstrates knowledge and ability to perform the work
* Some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies, used in this field
* Ability to work independently and complete daily tasks according to work schedule
* Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods of time, and perform strenous physical labor under adverse weather conditions
* Communicate written and orally
* Use equipment in proper and safe manner
* Understand, follow, and transmit oral and written instructions
* Meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
