Maslyk Landscaping is hiring a Maintenance Operations Manager with a passion for the green industry to join our team! Maslyk Landscaping provides both residential and commercial services in lawn/ landscape maintenance and installation, spring/ fall clean ups, pruning, mulching, tree removal/ installation, and seasonal color. We are seeking to hire a highly organized, self- motivated, positive individual who has exceptional, prompt, and professional communication skills.
The primary goal of the Maintenance Operations Manager at Maslyk Landscaping is in managing labor, material, and equipment in the field to complete maintenance contracts.
Qualifications:
* 5 years landscaping experience in the green industry and management experience is a must.
* Expert knowledge of maintenance standards and commercial mowers.
* Project management and organizational skills.
* Positive attitude and prepared to work in a cooperative team environment.
* Self- motivated, highly organized.
* Excellent Interpersonal skills, outgoing personality.
* Exceptional leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for going out every day and working with the crews making sure contracts are followed.
* Participate in snow removal and assume responsibility.
* Work with landscape crew leaders to direct maintenance crews on service orders with a detailed planned approach.
* Assist in planning and scheduling daily maintenance activities.
* Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure company goals.
* Expected hours during the maintenance season require flexibility.
* Guide employees and motivate them to achieve their daily tasks in budgeted time.
*Conduct weekly meetings with crews.
*Responsible for daily employee timesheets.
*Support maintenance crews with proper equipment and training as needed.
*Monitor weekly hours and make changes as necessary to achieve budget goals.
*Ensure crews are properly trained.
*Responsible for quality checks on properties.
*Responsible for all equipment, trucks, mowers etc.
