Press Brake Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, including machines to bend, shape, and form metal components according to specifications. Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate press brake machines to form metal parts according to blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
• Select appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings to ensure precise bends and angles.
• Inspect and measure completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications
• Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines and report any malfunctions or needed repairs.
• Read and interpret drawings instructions.
• Ensure quality control standards are met throughout the production process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all company safety guidelines and regulations to prevent workplace accidents.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience operating a press brake machine or similar equipment preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools and performing quality checks.
• Basic knowledge of metal fabrication processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for extended periods.
