Job Details:
Your responsibilities are:
-Overseeing the production on Tuesdays
-Ordering
-Expo / support on the weekends
-Supervising open/close responsibilities, Keeping the kitchen clean by delegating tasks and creating deep-cleaning routines
-Preparing medium to large batch of sauces and Stews
-Working at both Cold and Hot station when needed
-Working with pastry chef to prepare dough and bake bread per order when needed
-Preparing and serving desserts when needed
-Cooking fish, chicken, meat (all in electric oven, electric griddle, electric stack oven) when needed
-Managing/helping the team to prepare large quantity of dishes for large dinner parties and private parties
Masquerade is a Persian restaurant and cocktail bar in south Williamsburg Brooklyn. We have a small crew in our kitchen and looking for a solid line cook to join our team. We are currently open Wednesday through Saturday and Tuesdays are for production and prep. We are planning to open Tuesday next month and open for brunch in spring.
