Job Summary
We are seeking 1 dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in two school and administration facilities located at:
- 228 Pleasant Street, Northampton, MA 01060
- 97 Hawley Street, Northampton, MA 01060
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Conduct industrial cleaning activities to uphold cleanliness standards
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance issues
Requirements:
- Prior experience in commercial or residential cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different cleaning techniques
Scope of work:
Tasks During School Year & Summer School Session and Frequency per Week
(185 days/year 26 days of Summer School)
Common Areas:
- Vacuum / dust mop all floor surfaces
- Mop all hard floor surfaces
- Spot clean carpets as needed
- Dush corners, baseboards, windowsills
- Empty all trash
- Clean all entrance glass doors inside and out (weather permitting)
- Clean interior glass partitions, inside and out
- Sanitize desks, chairs, tabletops for all instructional areas
- Clean and disinfect bottle filling stations (3)
- Wipe down lockers
- Disinfect all common high touch points
Restrooms:
- Clean and disinfect all fixtures
- Refill dispensers
- Disinfect all high touch surfaces
- Clean mirrors
- Vacuum and mop flooring
- Clean and disinfect all sinks
Kitchen:
- Clean and disinfect sink, counters, and tables
- Refill dispensers
- Disinfect all high touch surfaces
- Clean and disinfect hand washing stations
- Clean inside and outside of microwave

Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
