Clinic/Practice Assistant, OBGYN and Midwifery- Northampton/Amherst

We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Clinic/Practice Assistant to support the practice onsite. The schedule consists of 4,10-hour days (Monday through Friday) from 7:30am to 6:00pm. These team members serves as the face of our medical group and plays a key role in managing the patient experience on the reception/administrative support side. This role is primarily focused on front desk support and answering phones with a mix of administration support as well! We are looking for well-rounded customer service professionals who can multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a high-volume outpatient setting!

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required and Associate's Degree Related Field of Study preferred

Licenses and Credentials

Experience
Two years experience in a medical/physicians office setting and/or experience with insurance benefits. 2-3 years preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Required.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Microsoft office applications preferred with ability to learn new software.
- Preferred.
- Highly developed communications and interpersonal skills, working with diverse population.
- Work independently, be self-directed and contribute as a member of a team.
- Anticipates challenges and develops and implements strategies for addressing them.
- High level of service delivery.
- Demonstrate initiative with ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and adapt to changing situations.
- Attention to detail.
