Job Summary

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Integrated Substance Use Disorder Training Program The Massachusetts General Hospital seeks a full-time nurse practitioner for a one-year training program in Addiction Medicine starting in June 2025. This program, the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Training Program (ISTP), is a new training fellowship that aims to train nurse practitioners, psychologists, and social workers in team-based addiction care, especially for under-served and diverse communities. The Nurse Practitioner Fellow will work with other ISTP trainees to provide inter-disciplinary care for people with substance use disorders in a community-based health center setting. The training program will provide clinical experience in a variety of placements including an inpatient addiction consult service, a low-threshold walk-in clinic, and outpatient dual-diagnosis programs for adolescents and adults. Training and mentorship will be provided by experienced addiction practitioners who are faculty of this program. Qualifications

Requirements for Submission: - Must submit three (3) letters of references. Two out of the three must be from a supervisor or manager. Could include a professor, preceptor, or training program director. Please upload statement within your application. - Updated resume should be included. *Note - the above items must be submitted at the time of the application, otherwise your application is considered incomplete. Educational Requirements: - Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required. - Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Clinical Nurse Specialist (PMHCNS). Licensure & Experience Requirements: - Current licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. - Current DEA license. - Current MA Controlled Substances Registration (MCSR).
