The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is seeking qualified candidates for the Program Coordinator II Position. The Program Coordinator II assists in the evaluation process for all Emergency Stabilization Program (ESP) referrals. This position also performs operational duties of the Templeton Community Services Program (TCS) by coordinating all placements to the ESP and acts as a liaison to Area Offices to provide progress updates and coordinate discharge planning. This position will also support the operations of the ESP and TCS by providing Residential Supervisor vacancy coverage, staff training, and program monitoring.

The Program Coordinator II meets with appropriate Area Office personnel, ESP Program Manager, and ESP clinicians to discuss admission steps and begin discharge planning. The incumbent of this position must have the ability to communicate professionally and be sensitive to the social / emotional needs of individuals being served throughout Templeton Community Services. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work in a team setting, follow written / oral instructions, communicate using language skills that reflect proper syntax and semantics, express thoughts clearly and develop ideas in a logical sequence. This position must have knowledge of computer hardware and software use. Follows guidelines as stated by Department of Developmental Services.

This position is located in the Templeton Community Services in Baldwinville, MA

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 30am - 5 : 00pm

Days Off : Sunday / Saturday

Flexibility required to meet the needs of the office.

    Qualifications :

    First consideration will be given to those applicants that apply within the first 14 days.

    MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS : Applicants must have at least (A) three years of full time, or equivalent part-time, professional, administrative or managerial experience in business administration, business management or public administration the major duties of which involved program management, program administration, program coordination, program planning and / or program analysis, or (B) any equivalent combination of the required experience and the substitutions below.

    Substitutions :

    I. A Bachelor's degree with a major in business administration, business management or public administration may be substituted for a maximum of two years of the-required experience.

    II. A Graduate degree with a major in business administration, business management or public administration may be substituted for the required experience.

    III. A Bachelor's or higher degree with a major other than in business administration, business management or public administration may be substituted for a maximum of one year of the required experience.

  • Education toward such a degree will be prorated on the basis of the proportion of the requirements actually completed.
  • Salary placement is determined by a combination of factors, including the candidate's years of directly related experience and education, and alignment with our internal compensation structure as set forth by the Human Resources Division's Hiring Guidelines. For all bargaining unit positions (non-management), compensation is subject to the salary provisions outlined in the applicable collective bargaining agreement and will apply to placement within the appropriate salary range.
