The Essential Needs Coordinator will assist with everyday tasks related to the new student Basic Needs Center. The Basic Needs Center will include the campus food pantry, variety of student basic need items, as well as various student resources. This position will help with the design and roll-out of the Center, management of the Center, identifying and delivering student services, marketing, and designing and delivering programs and events.
Job Duties Include:
Working with students to ensure their basic needs are met
Designing and managing the Center
Promoting the Center
Building programs and events
Data Management
Inventory
Student service delivery
Managing MCLA Swipes Program
Supporting partnership with Food Bank of Western Mass
Building partnership with other departments across the campus
Social media presence and marketing
Outreaching and collaborating with other student leaders across the Commonwealth engaged in similar work
Job Requirements:
Interest in supporting fellow students
Creativity and flexibility
Team player and can work independently
Positive energy and sense of humor
