- Lead Equity & Community Strategy: Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive equity-driven strategy that ensures fairness, opportunity, and inclusion are woven into the organization’s culture, policies, programs, and practices at all levels. Manage and allocate resources effectively within the budget to support the execution of equity-focused initiatives and ensure sustainable funding for ongoing and future equity projects.
- Cultural Transformation and Leadership Accountability: Champion a culture of equity by engaging with leadership to drive accountability for equity outcomes. Ensure that leadership at all levels embraces responsibility for embedding equity into decision-making processes and organizational practices.
- Drive Structural Change and Policy Reform: Evaluate and reform existing organizational structures and policies to eliminate barriers to equity. This includes working cross-functionally to integrate equitable practices and challenge any systemic practices that hinder diversity and inclusion.
- Promote Equity & Community Learning: Build and sustain a learning culture where all staff members are engaged in ongoing education around equity, inclusion, and social justice. This includes developing training programs that address both unconscious bias and systemic inequities while promoting a deeper understanding of equity as a critical driver of organizational success.
- Monitor Progress and Impact: Establish clear metrics and processes to measure the success of equity initiatives and ensure that progress is tracked transparently. Provide regular reports to the Board of Directors, senior leadership, and other stakeholders to demonstrate impact and ensure ongoing commitment to equity goals.
- Champion External Relations and Advocacy: Represent MCCA in the broader community, engaging in external partnerships, forums, and initiatives that align with the organization’s equity-driven mission. Advocate for systemic change in legal and civil rights arenas, ensuring the organization maintains a proactive stance on equity issues affecting the workforce and broader society.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Social Justice, Law, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in organizational leadership, equity-focused roles, or change management, with at least 5 years in a senior-level position.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives within a large organization.
- Strong understanding of organizational culture, leadership accountability, and systems change.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of staff and external stakeholders.
- Expertise in driving structural and cultural transformation to promote equity and inclusion in the workplace.
- Deep knowledge of civil rights laws, anti-discrimination policies, and related legal frameworks.
- Strong ability to lead and influence senior leadership teams, fostering accountability for equity outcomes.
