WORK SCHEDULE: The work schedule for this position typically fluctuates based upon the needs of a particular event or project, which would require the ability to work a flexible schedule including late nights, early mornings, long days, weekends, and holidays. Travel to other MCCA facilities may be required.
This position qualifies for a hybrid remote model as approved by the manager. The ability to work remotely in this role will be determined by the specific needs and demands of the position, as assessed by the manager. While the position allows for some remote opportunity, there may be periods where in-office presence is essential to meet departmental goals and team collaboration.
SERVICE EXPECTATIONS: Should be prepared to adjust schedule based on departmental and/or operational needs, allowing for responsiveness to changing workloads and emergencies as they occur.
DRESS CODE: Business casual; high standard of dress that would include slacks, button-down shirt, and close-toed shoes. No shorts, sneakers, or jeans.

- Social Media Engagement and Brand Consistency: Ensure MCCA’s social media presence is engaging and aligned with the organization’s voice, enhancing brand recognition and fostering positive relationships with both internal and external audiences.
- Effective Internal Communication: Prepare and distribute the internal Daily News Clips and quarterly newsletters, ensuring timely and relevant content that keeps the MCCA community well-informed.
- Event Coverage and Storytelling: Capture and amplify MCCA events and programs through high-quality photography and videography, ensuring these moments are effectively communicated across all platforms
- Website and Digital Content Management: Keep the MCCA website updated with current, accurate, and relevant content, including press releases and news updates, to serve as a reliable resource for internal and external audiences.
- Media Coverage and Relations: Track and organize all media coverage of MCCA, leveraging mentions to maximize visibility and support the organization’s image.
- Videography and Photography Quality and Organization: Capture, edit, and organize video and photography content efficiently, ensuring high-quality media is produced and easily accessible for internal and external use.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Media Studies, Public Relations, Communications, or another related field is required
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and mobile applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in photography, videography, and video editing
- Must be interested in social media and have a working knowledge of current online and mobile trends
- Bachelor's of Science or Arts degree
- Minimum of one or more years of experience in a communications or related e nvironment
- Preference will be given to candidates that acquire one to two years’ experience in a communications environment with a proven track record of strong strategic, organizational, and project management skills.
