Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. This role will involve administering human resources programs addressing employment-related matters, ensuring compliance with all company policies, and proactively identifying solutions to changes in regulations or workplace activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of the employee lifecycle from onboarding to retirement
- Oversee recruiting processes and partner with hiring managers on recruiting strategies
- Administer MMWEC's health and wellness programs, employee leaves, Worker's Compensation, and other workplace-related programs
- Provide day-to-day HR support to all employees
- Develop, implement, and administer HR programs aligned with overall business strategy
- Maintain, develop, and ensure compliance with company policies
- Monitor and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, employment laws and employee relations
- Coordinate and provide mandatory training on workplace practices
- Support current and future business needs through development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of the employee population
- Handle employee performance management, including annual appraisals and salary increases
- Develop and provide continuous training opportunities for employees
- Maintain accurate HR records and systems
- Engage with employees to understand and improve engagement levels
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 5 years of job-related experience
- Generalist knowledge of Human Resources functions and laws
- Specific knowledge of policies and procedures relating to key responsibilities
- A working knowledge of Employee Relations law
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently, and establish effective work relationships at all levels of the organization
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with all levels of employees
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A proactive approach to identifying and solving HR-related issues
